- What should the length of my hair be for a first time wax? - For best results we recommend your hair length to be 1/4 inches long (the length of a grain of rice) or 3-4 weeks of outgrowth after your last shave. A good rule of thumb is if you can easily pinch the the hair you're ready!
- I'm Pregnant ! Can I wax?-Absolutely ! You can wax throughout your entire pregnancy. We provide back support so you won't have to lie flat on your back. We will tailor the experience to provide as much comfort as possible.
- Can I wax on my cycle?- Yes , waxing during menstrual cycle is more common than you know. Just know you may feel more sensitivity to temperature and pain. Also you must wear a tampon.
- Is there age limit to get waxed? Yes and no. The age allowed without a parent or guardian is 17. Any age age younger requires a parent during any waxing service.
- Why should I wax instead of shaving?-When hair is shaved, within a few days, the hair can be seen at the surface of the skin and coarse stubble can be felt. Shaving commonly results in itchiness , razor bumps and ongoing skin irritation. When waxed, hair grows back slower, softer and without stubble. When appropriate post-hair removal home care is followed, waxing leaves virtually no ingrown hairs, bumps or ongoing skin irritation.
- What should I do for waxing aftercare? - First 24 hours we recommend you to a avoid pools, saunas , hot water, gym,tanning. You should wear loosed fitted clothing.And avoid touching or scratching the area unwashed.Do not apply deodorants , body sprays ,powders or lotions. You should also lightly exfoliate 2-3 a week.NO SHAVING OR NAIR USE (in between waxes).
- What happens if I'm running late for my reservation? - No worries we have a 7 minute grace period. The moment you realize you are running late , give us a call and we will try our best to accommodate you.
- NO SHOW POLICY* The day before your reservation we send out email and text message reminders. We ask that if you have to reschedule or cancel, please do so 24 hours before. We understand that life happens. So if you have to reschedule same day that is fine. Same day cancellations and or No Shows result in a $10 Fee upon next visit.
- Refund Policy* When booking online our website requires full payment. We do not offer refunds for prepaid services. If hairs were left behind we offer a three day touch up service.
